Well we successfully returned from our first beach trip with baby in tow. Gibson had so much fun playing in the sand, rinsing off with the water hose, and splashing around in the pool.
He even had his own kiddie pool to play in at the beach, thanks to Barret and Tricia! Surprisingly, he loved those sunglasses too. He never tried to pull them off.
He loves being wrapped up in towels. I think he enjoyed having the sand washed off more than he enjoyed playing in the sand.
We were able to get a few really nice pictures our last night there, right as the sun was setting so it wasn't too hot outside.
Paul might look a little funny in these pics because he was setting up the camera with a delayed flash and then running to get in the picture real fast.
But I think the family pics still turned out great!
(Just in case anyone is wondering why my arm looks so awkward and out of place, it's because Gibson spit up right on my boob and it seems like everytime Paul is taking a picture of me around the house, I've got spit up somewhere on my shirt. Such is the life of a mom...)
We had so much fun and we're glad we got to spend the week with our good friends, the Flaggs. Gibson and Brook played so well together, even though Brook's almost a year older.
