He started this new face on Friday when he came home from daycare, it's his pout face. He sticks that bottom lip out so far but most of the time it's not followed by crying so I guess it's just something he's experimenting with. I think it's adorable, but Paul says I shouldn't encourage it.
Maybe he was making this face because the bananas were "all gone!". Today was his first day to have bananas and I couldn't shovel it into his mouth fast enough, he was leaning forward and opening his mouth real wide, ready for another bite.
He can pretty much sit up by himself now, although his balance is still a little iffy...he still face plants when he gets tired of holding himself up. This week we're going to try to sit him in the wooden baby high chair when we go out to eat instead of taking his car seat in with us, because he just moved up to his big boy convertible car seat.
Gibson had fun playing at Grandma Jo and Grandpa's house Saturday night while mom scavenged for stuff at the consignment sale. Here's Gibson sitting up like a big boy, and not spitting up (this is a HUGE accomplishment!!!). There's that face again...I can't wait until he can communicate what he's thinking.
