Gibson's first tooth started to appear last week. There wasn't enough there to take a picture of but now you can see it when he smiles.
He's also started to talk all the time, dada this and dada that. It's so cute. My favorite time of day is when he first wakes up in the morning and I can hear him talking to himself and playing in the crib. It's priceless!
We also took him to the zoo for the first time over the weekend. He seemed to enjoy it, although it's hard to know how much he sees from the stroller. Paul did pick him up a few times to see some of the gorillas and monkeys and it looked like he was following them with his eyes. I think that was the first time I'd been to the LR zoo and actually saw the majority of the animals. We even got to see this giant turtle with his head poking out, and he was letting people pet him on the forehead. It was so cool.
And we saw a silver-back gorilla playing chase with a baby gorilla, all the big cats were out playing and laying around, and the chimps were hanging out.
Gibson was most interested in the water features at the zoo though. We caught him checking out the running water features in the exhibits more than the animals. What can I say, he's a water baby (he even had on his Aquarius onesie that day)!
